A dream of Casanuova experience was born with the intent to better understand a great wine with evolutionary potential, such as Brunello, and investigate its evolution over time. Here is a complete experience that will give you the opportunity to taste 3 different vintages of Brunello di Montalcino and 2 vintages of our Riserva.
The experience will begin with a short walk to the vineyard above Casanuova delle Cerbaie, during which will be introduced the territory of the Val d'Orcia and the fascinating history behind a great wine such as Brunello di Montalcino.
Next, we will move to the wine cellar to better understand the various stages of processing the grapes; finally, a look at the barrel cellar, place of long aging in traditional large barrels, top selection signed Stockinger.
At the end of the tour, in the cozy fireplace room, we will begin our sensory journey with three different vintages of Brunello di Montalcino Docg, to explore how time and climate conditions influence the complexity and depth of a great wine. Each vintage will offer a unique panorama, with nuances that evolve from the freshness and intensity of youth, to the maturity and richness of the most evolved aromas.
Finally, you will taste two vintages of Brunello di Montalcino Docg Riserva 'Vigna Montosoli', a symbolic wine of our company and a true expression of our passion for excellence. The Riserva, produced only in exceptional vintages, represents the pinnacle of quality and longevity of Brunello. Thanks to the privileged position of the Vigna Montosoli, located on particularly suitable soils, this wine stands out for its extraordinary elegance, structure and aging capacity, offering a unique experience that perfectly embodies the character of our territory.
To accompany the tasting, you will be served a taste of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil, along with snacks, such as taralli or breadsticks.
